Core Beliefs About Teaching and Learning

Kindergarten
Every child will succeed when we discover what "unlocks" each one.

First Grade
What we do in our teaching and interaction with a child may be a lifelong impression, perception, and memory - good and bad. Every child is someone's baby - to treat as your own.

Second Grade
All children are unique and can learn when needs are met in a positive, and patient learning environment which fosters an attitude that all (teachers and students) can succeed.

Third Grade
Everyone can learn and with a positive attitude and trying your best each can develop their unique and special talent.

Fourth Grade
Every child can learn and when students know you care they will excel. Love of learning can be a powerful motivator. Learning takes place with mistakes along the way.

Fifth Grade
All students can achieve if they have the best instruction, positive supports, apply themselves, and are guided to their own strengths to move towards autonomy.
